Alta Calgary In Job Mechanics

Perhaps not surprisingly, it’s usually a woman who comes through Dr. Earl Campbell’s doors searching for a surgical remedy for a sagging appearance. But Dr. Campbell, a member of the Canadian Association for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery based in Calgary, Alta., says most women aren’t being unrealistic about the cosmetic goals.

He describes the majority of his patients as “very normal people,” who have normal jobs and normal expectations. These women aren’t expecting to look like a 20-year-old version of Heather Locklear.

However, Dr. Campbell has come across some exceptions. There are those occasional clients who are over-worrying about a minimal problem, or are concerned about an aspect of their appearance which can’t be corrected with plastic surgery. “At that point, the warning flags go up,” says Dr. Campbell, adding that it’s then time for doctors to look at the driving factors behind the woman’s concern.
